What can we help with?
FoodSwipe support from JBOCGames.
For a question, a bug or a privacy request, email FoodSwipe@jboxgames.com. For a bug, tell us your phone model, Android version and what happened. A screenshot can help; please remove any personal information first.
Using FoodSwipe
How do I make a shortlist?
Swipe right or tap “Sounds good” to keep a food. Swipe left or tap “Not tonight” to pass. During round one, use “Go to shortlist” after keeping at least one food to finish early. Only foods you kept appear there.
Why am I seeing the same foods again?
When more than six foods remain after a full round, FoodSwipe gives you another round of those choices. An early shortlist with more than six has a “Narrow these choices” action. Keep refining until you have a useful set of meal ideas.
How do I hide a food permanently?
Open Settings and turn off that food in “Your menu”. Your exclusions apply when you start a new session. Passing on a card only means “not tonight”. You can re-enable foods at any time.
Are my preferences saved?
Food exclusions, appearance, haptics and less-motion preferences are saved on this device. A fresh launch starts a new selection session. There is no account or cloud synchronisation.
How do I remove my saved data?
On Android, open Settings, find FoodSwipe under Apps, open Storage and choose Clear storage (wording varies by device). Uninstalling also removes FoodSwipe’s local preferences. There is no FoodSwipe account to delete. Email us if you want support correspondence deleted.
Does it find restaurants or check allergies?
FoodSwipe helps you choose a type of food. It does not search for restaurants, place orders, provide recipes or verify ingredients. Food photos are representative. Check ingredients and dietary needs with the restaurant.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Meal selection, bundled photos and preferences work offline. Opening web links or emailing support needs an appropriate connection.
Good food. Fewer maybes.
